For private individuals in Germany, the operation of a maximum of 3 camp spots on a private property is allowed. For additional camp spots a license for operating a campsite is required. You are allowed to offer camp spots anywhere on your private land, it is not allowed on nature reserves.

If you have more than one field, it is necessary that each field has a different owner, as only a maximum of 3 camp spots are allowed. We recommend you to set up leases within the family to be able to offer 3 camp spots on several fields.
